I can say this is the king of all biriyanis…. First time when I tried preparing biriyani, I almost messed up n I thought I will never make it.. I hate long procedures while cooking and I wanted a simple recipe..Finally I... developed this simple biriyani recipe…this fish biriyani can be prepared in no time.. It was an incredible food and I really enjoyed it:)

 Ingredients :

( For preparing rice )
Basmati rice - 2cups
Bay leaves - 2
Clove - 2
Cardamom 3
Lemon juice - 1tsp
Salt - For taste

 (For fish masala)
Kingfish (any kind of ur choice) - 1/2kg
Big onion - 2
Tomato -2
Ginger garlic paste - 3tsp
Mustard seeds -1tsp
Oil -3tsp
Chilli powder - 2tsp
Coriander powder -2tsp
Pepper powder - 1tsp
Turmeric powder -1tsp

( For garnish)
Onion
Cashew
Ghee

Method :
1.Boil water ( about 5cups) and add salt, cloves cardamom n bayleaves. Add 1tsp lemon juice also. Then add rice and cook. When rice is almost cooked drain the water n keep cooked rice aside. Do not over cook rice.
2.Cut fish( bones removed) in to small pieces n marinate with chilli powder, turmeric powder n pepper powder for about 5mint. Then fry fish pieces well. Do not over cook fish.

Cook the masala for 2mint n finally add fried fish pieces. Add little water also. This fish masala should not be too watery.
4.Now we are going to layer biriyani. First take a deep pan n pour 1tsp ghee. Then spread one layer of fish masala n on top of that spread rice evenly . Repeat the same . top layer should be rice. On top of each rice layer , drizzle very little ghee n coriander leaves (optional). Top rice layer can be garnished with fried onions, nuts n raisins. Close the lid n cook for another 3mint.
